Less Than 80

Today, I want to talk to you about something I’m calling “Less than 80.”

Many of you have taken the Visionary and Integrator Indicator Assessments, and I’ve gotten some questions from those who had a score that was less than 80. They’re saying, “What do I do? What does that mean? Does that mean that I’m not a Visionary? Does that mean I’m not an Integrator?”

A couple of key things I want you to think about when interpreting that score.

The first thing I want you to realize is that these assessments are not a pass/fail. There’s no right or wrong answer. It’s not that you are or you aren’t a Visionary or an Integrator. This whole thing is a spectrum we’ve laid out. This is an opportunity for you to see where you fall – it’s an indicator.

That said, we all have shortcomings. We all have gaps. We all have strengths and weaknesses. These assessments are a tool for you to become aware of where those may be and to what degree. Once you know, you can begin to do something about it.

One of the things you may choose is to get better and work to improve. Or, you might decide to delegate it. You might find that complementary person who has strength in the area where you are lacking. You can delegate those things to them. Either way is fine. Just decide what’s right for you. This is your opportunity to be aware, take some action, and to move closer to where you want it to be.

One key thing I want you to realize is that this does indicate how much energy will be required on your part. If you have a lower score, it’s going to require more energy to achieve the same level of performance as someone else who may have a higher score. It’s just going to be easier for them. Again, that just goes back to the way that we’re all naturally wired to have certain unique abilities. Our wish is that the more you to play in the area that is your unique ability, the better it’s going to be. The better it will be for you, the better it will be for the company.

Three key points to wrap this one up:

1. It’s not pass/fail.
2. It’s an indicator of where you fall on a spectrum.
3. This is a great opportunity for you to get an awareness so that you can begin to take action. Do the things that you need to do to make sure you are getting more of what you want from your business.

Come see us on RocketFuelNow.com. Take the Visionary and Integrator assessments. See where you’re great. See where you could use some help. We’ve been having some great discussions with other Visionaries & Integrators over on LinkedIn and Facebook.  Regardless of where you are in your process, I encourage you to join the conversation! And finally, read Rocket Fuel. If you’ve already read Rocket Fuel, and you liked it, we’d love to see a review from you on Amazon. We’d really love to hear what you think.

Until next time, Go ROCKET!

Cheers,

Mark
